New Year's Day Sailing. 

Two boats took to the water for a Cup Race. We hadn't heard it was cancelled. We managed an OOD, flag-waver and two in a safety boat. Paul and our friend Guy went out in the Toura and came a very close second. They were only two laps behind as they crossed the line. The current was still strong on Yellow boards. The wind was bitterly cold and some drizzle.
Coming second sounded quite good until you realise there were only two boats in the race.
